Best Woman

I've never attempted to fart around with this Blog; however, with Leslie gone I figure that it is worth a shot. If you are squinting, confused, or just can't make sense of the words, it's because I will not be using universal Blog language such as: "super-fun", "super-yummy", or "super-anything", followed by 3 or more !!!!!!!.
Leslie left me almost 5 days ago and I am about as happy as a dead hog in the sunshine. She gets back this evening after attending her sister's graduation at Madison. If she was gone any longer I would probably be cooking Pork n' Beans over a dumpster fire downtown and living under a bridge.
Try to look at this picture of Lester and not laugh.
This lady has put a smile on my face and a chuckle in my belly from day 1. She can work circles around just about anyone I have ever met. She doesn't require an act, performance, or favor as a prerequisite for her approval. Nobody I have ever met gives a crap about squirrels like she does.
Some of my favorite Leslie quotes are: "Stop smiling; that makes me mad, . . . . me, making you happy", "I just stole flowers out of the neighbor's yard" (in the vase in picture), "If that stupid pet store doesn't lower the price on that dog pool, I'm going to go over at night and draw a big butt on it so they will give me a discount", and my favorite saying of "Oh, that's happy" whenever she sees something nice.
Best woman I've ever met. I'll probably end up keeping her around.
*These were some fresh cookies that the Betty Crocker machine (A.K.A. Jake) had just baked that looked like a flat pile of cookie puke. Apparently there is a difference between Baking Powder/Soda.

She sounds like the perfect wife!!!!!!!!!!! (those extra ! were just for you) I remember the first time I made pancakes and I used baking soda instead of powder. They were "super" flat and salty. My dad ate them anyway and just said "They're good, they're just a little salty"
